Advice needed
« on: October 03, 2011, 11:33:51 am »
Last few weeks my car has been spluttering and misfiring so I had map taken off and booked car in for Tuesday. I noticed without map car seemed to be running ok . Day before it was booked in my air con stopped working so I thought that’s lucky as next day its in so they can fix it at vw. To cut a long story short after 4 days it had not been sorted so I rang warranty myself and hey presto VW replaced the part the next day under warranty which was good as its nearly a grand apparently to replace this air con part.

Anyway even though the light came on twice and it was misfiring with the map on vw say they cannot see any problem with car, it doesn’t show on their computer.

Now the car is running fine so I am not sure I want to put the map back on and get all this hesitation again. Thing is if I don’t then I have lost 500 quid getting the revo map in the first place.

Any advice what to do?

Thanks

Speak to REVO Hq I'm sure they will be willing to help with your issues.

You could find someone near you with vcds and log your car o see how it's behaving with the map on

As mike says either go to Revo and they will sort it for you or get it logged and send them the files.  :happy2:
