Would be very interested in hearing more about this. Where have you seen this talk? Are APR planning on using V-Tune like they did for the 1.8T?

@ All : thanks for the positive comments , any more info you need just ask....
@ KRL : You know as much as I do
Arin on golfmkv.com kindly contacted me about my spool questions to give me the full run down and indicated that there are some new maps due out for non US cars :happy2: (edition30 being one of them) very soon.
Whether that includes new functionality I dont know........
All I know is I need new front tyres :signLOL:

Yes I did see your post on golfmkv.com. What was the conclusion about the spooling then? From your reply I am guessing the spooling might be smoothed out in the new SW...
Ref V-Tunes - If APR were to release it for the 2.0TFSI it would be great and would probably sway me into choosing APR over REVO. Like you I appreciate APR's tuning philosophy and ethos but am also a bit of a tinkerer so would love to have the ability to mess around with different settings etc.

the curve is a mix of APR delivery + the way the dyno was set up at the time.
Gonna get car on dyno again and it will prob look less peaky.... :happy2:

Any news on the above John?
I've just joined this forum having just selling my APR Stage 3+ MKIV...Jim's first Golf conversion done some 2 ago.
I've been an APR fan for some time tracking the MKIV after he did the first APR stage 2 mapping when it was first launched.
The MKIV had everything done intially before Stage 3....ie Quaiffe, FMIC, Milltek DP CAT exhaust, Koni ride height susoension. Neuspeed ARB's, poly Bushed and Tarox 6 pot 2 piece brakes running Inters...car put out 230bhp on stage 3 on AUM engine....Stage 3 after rebuilding engine was putting out over 350bhp and 350lbs of torque....quick road car.
Back to your car I am considering cruise and APR map but wanted your oppinion....I see Blufin delivers slightly differently....slightly less peaky at front of map or is the rollers?
Did you consider Bluefin/Revo/Chipped UK/APS or GIAC?
Looking at tracking her so I know what's to be done but on the road it seems very good all round....brakes are a bit over servoed but strong....big brakes are nice but horrendously expense to change discs...Tarox want £550 plus VAT just for discs and £200 for pads on their 6 pot kit!!
