Right guys, I don't really want to spend much more than £100 per corner on winter tyres for my 18" Pescara's (I know you get what you pay for, but I only commute a few miles to work). For roughly the same price as each of these you can get a 16" steel wheel with tyre fitted but if they're going to be fitted for a few months, I don't really want it to look like someone has stolen my alloys!
Can anyone recommend any of these or a similar alternative?
These have quite favourable reviews:
Nankang Snow SV-2 - £101.50
http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Nankang/SV2.htmThese I'm not so sure about as I couldn't find much about them:
Nexen Winguard Sport - £95.90
Accelera Snow - £90.70
Interstate Claw Extreme Grip - £79.70
Rockstone S210 - £72.20
Sunny SN3830 - £67.20
Sailun Ice Blazer - £65.40
I've heard good things about Hankook W300 Icebear tyres but can't find them in stock anywhere.
