Glad my iPhone 4 won't look out of date. I tend to keep a cheaper tariff and buy my phones direct from Apple - covering most of the cost by selling my old phone. Although the speed boost, better camera, and Siri look great, I don't think it warrants an upgrade. I'm perfectly happy to upgrade the software on my phone for now, and hang onto my handset for another year  :wink:

According to Macrumours the Apple support peeps have confirmed an 07:01am GMT pre order opening. However, when i spoke to Apple support earlier today, they wouldnt confirm a time at all.

Im a little disappointed that the 5 didnt happen, case design would have been something else.

However, all the tech in the 4S is bang on the money, and exactly what was expected. The spec is awesome.

The reason Android needs a higher spec machine to run is because its an absolute POS. I cant wait to put a brick through the crappy Android phone im currently rocking. Its such a bad OS.

It will be 08:01 as we are 8 hours ahead due to DST

Just to show i'm not mental here is a link to the current PST which you will note is -8hrs not -7hrs

Don't know for sure yet as they haven't released details even to Devs.

Last time iirc it was limited to 2 per customer pre-order
