I worked out that buying the 4s outright will be more expensive than contract over 24 months with 100mins/100 texts, based on iPhone 4.
Think I'll wait for a contract deal.
Please send me your maths...Every single contract deal I have compared vs sim-only (bought outright), sim-only always wins.
I strongly recommend a Three 12 month sim-only contract £15 pm 600mins/2000txts/1GB for a good sim-only deal.
Easy
My 18month contract with free 32Gb 4S on Vodafone will be £53p/m (£67 usually but I get a reduction of 20% forces discount
)
£53 x 18 = £954
£954 - £59 that Vodafone are giving Pre order customers is £895
£895 - £350 I can get for the 32Gb iPhone 4 = £545
To buy the phone would cost me £600 then I would have to pay a monthly fee be it contract or PAYG on top. Even at a min of a £15p/m sim only deal would mean the total cost would be £780
So I can pay £545 total for 3000mins, unlimited texts, 1GB data, 25mb roaming data etc
Or
£780 for the phone and that sim you quoted.
Me thinks I'll get a contract and save £235
