I'd be interested to hear any opinions from people who have upgraded from 4 to 4S.

I didn't plan to get one but circumstance now means I have a 32Gb 4S on order. Is there any perceivable difference other than the Siri functionality? The camera specs look very good too. Also, is it accepted that the call dropping "feature" of the 4 is now resolved?

I may also order a 4s as my BB is playing up, has this battery issue been sorted?

I went from the 4 to 4S and it is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. Noticeably quicker than the 4 and the camera is very good for a phone and better than a lot of compact digital cameras i have used in the past. I never had a problem with call dropping on the 4 but it is not a problem I have seen reported for the 4S. FWIW I haven't got any battery problems either. Some tests have proved the battery problems to be software related (within iOS) rather than hardware related. It's not yet known why some have the problem and others don't.

This is one major thing keeping me away from upgrading. I like the battery life of my 4, it survives the day with my use.

I just upgraded to the 64GB 4S a couple of days ago. Really pleased with it :happy2: It's so much faster than my old 3G. The camera is very good for a phone camera and the audio quality has also improved - it's hard to tell the difference between that and CD's now, even through a pair a studio reference cans. I've not had the chance to try out Siri yet but will have a good play around with it over the weekend. It's definitely a worthwhile upgrade IMHO.

If anyone is interested in a 16GB 3G I have one for sale. Pretty much mint condition - it's been in a case all of it's life. Yours for £90. PM me if you're interested and I can send you some pics.

I got my 4S a few days ago, and to be honest I can't see any difference over the 4 it replaced. I'd be mightily peeved off if it had cost me to upgrade.
