When I did a google search yesterday all that came up where on the turbo.  So have they essentially told you your part is fine it will fit on the rear.  maybe forge are using a TDI part for some sort of pressure sensor so the ECU knows what the forge DV is doing? i.e if it is open or closed?

I think it's to do with it being vacuum operated not electronically?

The N75 near the turbo too much of a ball ache to change on the driveway?

maybe go out for a drive and see if you can log the N75 duty cycle and the DV duty cycle along with the boost pressure and mass air flow and see what results you get might help you to know if you need to bothere changing it?

have you got your original DV to hand?  just wondering if its worth re-fitting after logging to do a comparison run?

Original DV is the old diaphragm type & in the Uk, Doh.  I would log & / or nip back to dealer and see if they'll fit it but I'm meant to be taking shelves down ready for moving out  :sad1:

Be prepared to get annoyed if you do, they have those special clips on, which might need special tools, replacement ones...

I wouldn't be surprised if the dealer didn't have them ring clips in stock, they don't seem to hold anything  :fighting:

I'm not attempting it on the drive looking at them clips (& the weather)

Thanks for the offer.  Think I've cleared it up. The forge DV uses a tdi valve and I still have the OEM N75 by the turbo with the pn I originally posted.

Going to fit the new N75 as it's in for diagnostics anyway.

Just actualy realised that the N75 actualy comes as part of the Forge DV, it was that long ago since I fitted it  :ashamed:

You'll find if you unplug the n75 in your pic it will have the groove like the one I posted, Forge apparently use a tdi valve with the DV to allow it to work properly (vacuum operated?)

I will have another valve near the turbo (I'm ko4) that's the one I'll repose seeing as I have a new one sat here now :)

Did you find out a way to get that N75 valve without the groove to fit? I'm running into that problem. No groove, but I got a Forge DV on my MK5 GTI. In dire need cause I think it's whats causing the problem on my car. Thinking of just trying to manually carve a groove.

Im sorry it was so long ago, I'll re-read my thread and see if it refreshes my memory.

I'm back on OEM Revision G diverter now.

Would be awesome man! I'm thinking of just trimming the edge of the plastic myself. There shouldn't be a big difference between n75 valves. I'm sure the one they use is stock besides the groove.
