Anti-freeze?
« on: October 06, 2011, 03:23:37 pm »
My coolant is on the minimum mark, anyone got any good suggestions on where to get some? Don't want to buy from the stealers, had a look at halfords and they do 5 litres for 18 pounds, says its fine to use in vdubs but doesn't have the same specification to what my manual says to use. Is it still ok to use? Thanks people

As others have stated stick to the G12 from the dealers. I bought some last year just for small topups still half full. Put the wrong stuff in and you might end up having to have the lot flushed out and changed.

Can G12 go off??

My bottle has lasted me 5 years or so of top ups, just wondering whether it can go off over time?

Just bought some G12 plus plus from the dealers for £7.45!!?? This is cheap isn't it? It says ready mix on the bottle aswell but the sales person said I still have to mix it 50/50 with water? Is this correct? Cheers guys
