Another mod completed....

RNS510 with Bluetooth. Looks like it was designed for the Polo GTI Fascia as well as the black gloss surround matches perfectly. Works perfectly with the MFSW and Park reverse sensors. Also has the speed camera locations and speed limits as POI's on screen. Lovely bit of kit.

Golf R gone.

How much for the 510 Hurdy ? Did u have the parking sensors or u installed them afterwards ? If you order the car without them and want to install them later, do you need another rear bumper or you just have to cut the holes into the existing one ?

Under a grand all-in. That included the RNS510,  bluetooth module, latest maps and firmware and GPS antenna. The parking sensors were a factory fit option that I took so I couldn't tell you if the bumper is different with the sensors. SteveP may know through ETKA  :happy2:

I noticed after that there is also group buy happening on the Golfgti forum if you are interested.

Yeah, cheers Darren, the setup is great and it is even easier to use than I thought it would be. The Toyota nav I had was like operating the space shuttle.  :surprised:

Looking very stealthy Hurdy. Going to have to get myself back into a VW, drive loads of VAG at work then have to drive home in my poxy Vauxhall :ashamed:

Can you not wrap the lip under the honeycomb grill to tie the fog surrounds together?

You know you want to.

I've taken the cf wrap off the fog surrounds as water was getting under the wrap making it bubble.

Popped over to Awesome GTI today for UKMKIV's dyno day. Power about right, but torque a little higher than expected.

225bhp (210whp) and 274lbft - from just a remap and an exhaust!

That is basically the equivalent specific output of 320bhp and 390lbft form a 2 litre car.

225bhp is 195bhp/ton on my car.  8)

That RNS510 kit looks superbly functional, John. It's taken VW long enough to get those units right!

Liking your new sig!
