Do you loose the supercharger as I suppose it becomes irrelevant if you go bigger turbo?

Supercharger only operates upto 3500rpm before it disengages so it'll still be used and will help spool the turbo faster cancelling any extra lag you might expect with a larger turbo

BUT they say it'll only flow 270hp with all the bolts ons.

So your still 30hp shy of the 300hp target.  That said thats only looking at peak hp. Gains in the midrange might be immense.

Wander if ben will still want to do dsg development if I change tuner  :surprised:

Course it is, he's trying to sell you a turbo,he'll say anything to take some dollars off you.  He said 270hp in his sales post, if more was available or likely he'd have said in his OP.

Ever the pessimist

I cant see why you would need any more power with this John. As it is, it sounds like the perfect combination of tractable power and grip levels and power to weight. Drag strips are boring, and thats all it will be good for it you just go for immense power.

I think John should stop chasing numbers over winter, wait till spring then take it for a blast around a track. If it still feels too slow, or like it can handle more power, then go for it. But personally, i think any more will ruin what looks to be an absolutely immense car.

We've had a setback with the hybrid.  Looks like its not an option now with revo who don't want to develop past stage 2 anymore
