Bit of an update.

Had a play with the car on Statllers Dyno today and it made 220WHP!!!

For everyone in the UK that works out at 255bhp. Not too bad to say the Polo still hasn't been fully tuned to the hybrid turbo. Two runs also gave over 257bhp, but the dyno operator held off the accelerator pedal to avoid kick down and so the torque curves were lower. The one below was the best combination of bhp and torque.

The car is running silky smooth at the moment and the overall mods have produced a lovely motor. 8)

Have you thought about getting the DSG reprogrammed to disable kick down?

I don't think it's that easy on the 7 speed dry clutch boxes.  :wink:

torque curve are looking very good there john.  Should keep the limits below the torque limiters on the DSG as well

Is it the same as the Pirelli and later models where it was/is difficult to map the dsg due to a change in the VW software?

Or have they got round that now.

There are a couple of companies who have cracked the coding for the 7 speed DSG, so it shouldn't take long to filter through to the UK now. :happy2:

Cheers fella's, I'm going old school and fitting a manual boost controller :evilgrin:  Many, many logs will be taken to ensure I don't burn holes in my pistons :scared:  :laugh:
