Sounds good John.

Sad to see you selling the Polo, but on the positive note, ive got some bargain OKADA coil packs out of it

Will be good to see a big turbo Golf R knocking about.  If Keith managed a 12.2 with a stage 2+ Golf R, i dread to think what sort of time you could manage with an extra 100Hp!!

I'm presuming you have gone for DSG as well?

I still love the Polo and if I could have convinced my better half to have it I would have. I guess her loss is everyone else's gain who buys the parts off it

I've been told that 11's at the strip with a Loba L04XX is basically a given, but I'm not counting my chickens yet.

Yes, it is a DSG....you need to sharpen your investigative skills Sy......see pic 3 of the car.  :signLOL:

Really tempted by Nicks CCW forged alloys,  they are a bit tasty.......and very light.
Golf R gone.

I breezed over it, saw loads of popcorn pictures and then just asked instead of reading.  You see it was much quicker and easier on my part  :innocent:

Ahh, forgot about the poor internet you have over there :ashamed:

That's great. I'm going to take a few bits off the car this morning, so I'll see about swapping the coilpacks too. :happy2:

I've started a new thread now Ian, so I'm expecting plenty of ideas and links for carbon stuff going in there.

....Well, what colour is it? - You say it's Carbon Grey but it doesn't look like the Ed35's Carbon Grey. SteveP says it's Steel Grey but I think he needs to go to Specsavers. And the pics give it a strong bias towards a silver. IMO.

I hate to say it , but SteveP is right. The dealer spec list has it as Steel Grey. :happy2:

Those pics really don't make it look like the Mk5 GTI's Steel Grey - Have they been Photshop'd or enhanced at all? A dealer's spec list isn't always to be trusted.

United Grey Metallic?

Photoplopped as I took out the reg no and tweaked the contrast.  :happy2:
