Definitely no NOS this time, but i may still get tempted by a Snow Performance Water/methanol kit.

Also looking at these as the OEM paddles are too small.

Nice John, been looking at the options myself, thinking of getting something custom made  :happy2:
Keep me posted as to what you are looking at then Steve. :happy2:

I decided to have a gander at one of these. Cost almost as much as my ED30!  :scared:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Just got the e-mail back on pricing!! :scared:

"Hello,

Thank you for inquiry.
Ultimate shifter is good for your car, but expensive. We have two kind of methods.

1. Complete replacement
Price is $899.99 USD, included genuine shifter.

2. Exchange
Price is $599.99 USD, required return back your shifter. It need $300USD deposit that is for our stock genuine shifter. Deposit will refund when we receiving your shifter immediately.

Best regards,

Still tempted as I know it would almost definitely be unique with that price and more OEM+++++ than just OEM+ :rolleye:

Is no one else slightly disappointed in Hurdy's modding list.  :chicken: This Hurdy we are talking about here.  :driver:

I am sure it will get a bit more bonkers as time goes by.  Lovely little car John.  :drinking:

Imminent arranged/bought mods

Uprated lower engine mount
Retro-fit RNS510 (newest model) and bluetooth module.
Stage 1 remap.

REVO i presume? Was chatting with them at inters and they didnt seem keen on  going much more than stage 2 until the issues they see know of with the engines are sorted at factory level

Yes, revo.
I was talking to the VW dealer and he was adamant that the upgrade pistons and rings are now fitted :happy2:
Stage two will only last me a month......I need more......w/meth, hybrid turbo or maybe a garrett upgrade
Just looking at genuine carbon fibre kits to do some custom stuff for myself. Plenty to keep me busy till the next show season....and.....maybe a few surprises along the way to keep even TC happy

Stock map dyno run today....the first of many dyno runs most likely

Just ordered NGK plugs, ITG intake and a tasty upgrade brake system   and had it's first oil change to Mobil 1 fully synthetic 0w40.

More later............. :popcornsoda:
