Here you go John, keep that heat out of the engine bay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Turbo-T3-T4-Blanket-Heat-Shield-Exhaust-Wrap-Combo-/120799774029?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c203a454d#ht_4050wt_1177

Thats £63 buy it now, or place best offer.

They reckon they are that good, you can touch the outside of the turbo heatshield without burning your hand, That with some exhaust wrap and manifild wrap will make a pretty big difference i think

Not sure what size out turbo would equate to.  The one above is T3/T4 sized.  Theres also T 25 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Turbo-T25-TD06-Blanket-Heat-Shield-Exhaust-Wrap-Combo-/300613696691?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45fdf8fcb3#ht_4050wt_1177

Woohoo,

Stage 2 put on the car today and it feels much livelier.

Exhaust system sounds sublime with a sound that even Steve Jr at Statllers says sounds better than a 2.0TFSI and I have to agree.....of course.  Lovely deep burble at idle and some nice "farts" from the car on gearchange and overrun crackle.  :happy2:

Brakes should be fitted tomorrow - front.......and back

Dark tints on this weekend for the windows (neglected to tick the B pillar tint option  :sad1:), but should be VERY dark. Then next week the front end will get a face upgrade :innocent:
and then water/meth.

Got to keep myself busy on my 10 days off.  :happy2:

When is the dyno run then, John?

When was the stage 2 code released? IIRC Ryan said that Revo were holding back on the release until VAG had sorted out all the misfire's were sorted...

Cheers Teff.

Just a minor upgrade to MK1 Leon Cupra brakes. IIRC 256mm vented brakes  :happy2:

Dyno set-up and run is tomorrow after the brakes are on.

Don't know when the stage 2 was released, but Steve  Jr popped it on this afternoon and it is quite a bit gruntier than stage 1. The new 1.4TSi engines have the revised engine internals, so the issues should be resolved on them. I don't know what exactly has been changed, but my dealers assured me that they have been done.  :happy2:
