Need a few more targets already .......

0-60mph - target still under 5 seconds
0-100mph - new target is 13 seconds
1/4 mile - new target is 13.6 seconds

 :happy2:

that would make more sense.  terminal of maybe 103-105 would then be achievable.

I reckon you are spot on with those terminals Sy. :happy2:
Makes me wonder if adding more power would just detract from the clean launches I'm currently getting though?

You 'll end up with traction issues with to much more power, that issue is making me re-consider the hybrid option.  Id rather something fast and tractable than a wheel spinning nightmare that needs R888s on to put the power down.  Thats an expensive hobby.

Plus if your sat on the line spinning tyres, your times arent going to be that good.  Thats one of the largest issues with my car i think.  skinny 205 continental contact 2 = 1st gear not usable.  HOw are the yoko Parada spec 2's?

IS that heat soak on the ITG run?

Yoko's are great in the dry, not as good in the damp/wet. R1R's at the nearest size match next year for me.

On that run he let off early and the last two figures are basically drop off figures.

Is that a proper GTI badge or a knock off?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

It is this one..

The only other way to get the red GTI is to buy the set below and exchange the silver GTI from the original badge.

So, here is a bit of an explanation of why I ended up with the Polo GTI............

The graph below shows my acceleration curve in comparison with four other performance cars. The lower the line on the graph the faster it is.

As you can see it isn't until 130-140kph that even the 395bhp Golf would get to the same speed as my Polo GTI. However, because I would have accelerated faster up to that point my car would be further ahead of the Golf at the point they are at the same speed. The Focus doesn't even get to the same speed as my Polo until 160kph (100mph).

Just one thing though a stage 2+ k04 golf with decent mods should be able to 100mph in around 10secs so what the guy in the 400hp golf is doing is anyones guess

Im pretty sure you did in your own golf minus NOS and Owen managed it on his performance box in his Cupra and im pretty sure i would of when i ran a 12.9.

Add your own golf to that graph minus NOS as a comparison.

So on the above basis converting to kph, the Polo GTI would still be ahead up to 75kph and then would be torn a new one
