It's still going to be ace on a small circuit though  :driver:

Spoke to Revo and they feel that the engine wouldn't be safe with anything over the stage 2 map, so haven't any plans to develop an upgrade map for a hybrid turbo.  :sad1: this basically means I will be stuck at stage 2 unless I ignore Revo and fit the hybrid anyway without having a map to optimise it. Water/meth and the intercooler and rad should net me a few bhp, so it isn't all bad news. Deako is right to a point, I feel the car can take more power at the top end but whether the w/m gives it the extra oomph I don't know for sure yet?

Well that has saved you say £1457(1750euro) on a hybrid turbo and maybe another £100 on the additional revo mapping.

So what are you going to spend that £1557 on John.

If you cant make the extra bhp/ton by adding power, do it by shedding weight.

Seats, bonnet....

You are right, I've already found a carbon bonnet, but I'll need to fit a vent on it. Maybe look for carbon wings and even lighter alloys. Perhaps the bucket seats too.?

you definitely need lighter alloys.  Links for carbon bonnet please

because ill have yours

What about a fibreglass bonnet, would that also be substantially lighter than stock,  but much cheaper than carbon?

Looking forward to this.

Already ordered the I/C and Radiator anyway, but you are probably right, although I'll have some sticky rubber in February. 8)

How boring would renault forums be.

Build threads with no work in them just pictures of stock cars

I like modifying
