And I thought this was my build thread :signLOL:

Anyway, the car has been at Statllers over the last day or so to see what fine tuning settings suit the wmi best. I'm still in the dark about the power, but me and Steve Jr did a quick pull against each other on a closed two lane private road! and from a roll I was still pulling on him over 90. Spoke to him after and he had the throttle nailed to the carpet.

Mike and just for you it was against a stage 2 Leon Cupra  :innocent: :driver:

Spare water/meth tub in the rear of the car just in case i get eager on the way down to the dyno day tomorrow and use up the remainder of the bottle.
Golf R gone.

Christ so with a hybrid you should be stage 2+ territory :surprised:

These are going to be impressive up the 1/4 then.  What do you reckon about your current 1/4 time

Once the Federal's are on then I reckon the car is already worthy of 4's for the 0-60 dash and the 1/4 mile in the VERY low 13's. 0-100mph feels a good bit faster and I reckon the power at the top end doesn't drop off until the redline now. The car also feels smoother now too.

Next on my shopping list will be to hunt down that linear throttle map and a DSG map to stop the dreaded kickdown and gear-up.  :fighting:

I hate to say it, but I now officially like this little Polo more than the Eddie  :surprised: :ashamed:

.....I'm glad you say that because I think you'd feel very disappointed if you still preferred the Eddie.

Are you gonna hide them and turn them into chocolate brownies?

....Hide them where!!? The thought about how they might get turned into chocolate brownies is not a nice image!

But let's not take Hurdy's build thread off topic.

If you don't already know, you won't want to!

Higy intrigued to see how things pan out tomorrow with this car, along with Steve's

227hp i here? Dyno graphs please :popcornsoda:

227bhp and 230lbft  :happy2: Lower than expected, but the way it is delivered and spread over a wide band shows how the wmi helps. Not too shabby for a 1.4 with just a zorst, map, intake and wmi. Next stage begins next week, Loba LO270 hybrid turbo, intercooler and another map.

And again thanks to everyone for organising the day and the drive down was immense

Graphs just for Janner.....

Silky smooth AFR.

Gorgeous spread of torque of 225-230lbft held from 2500rpm all the way to 5100rpm and only dips below 200lbft just before 6000rpm
Power curve is lovely and smooth too and tops 200bhp at 4740rpmand still holds over 210bhp at 6800rpm

Golf R gone.

Cheers John :happy2:

Agree on the torque and AFR.  The curves are perfect.

Tbh, this is about what i expected you to be achieving on a dyno dynamics roller, this is why i said id be after 250hp from a hybrid on dynodynamic rollers as thats probably alot more on others.

How doo these figures compare to the Stadtlers ones?
