TTRS? R8? Why not try the NQS BBK, not VAG but highly regarded

What's not VAG about the Boxter / Cayman calipers  :P

OFFTOPIC Well... VAG does NOT include Porsche  :P
Porsche has VAG shares but it is not included in VAG. Here are the marks that are included in VAG: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Group

Sorry Weston, Ill get myself a;

It seems I may have been looking in the wrong places then as a few of you are quoting good prices for the R32 set up. Is there anything in addition to the calipers, carriers etc to get them to fit?

Does anyone have a pair of R32 front calipers for sale or know someone who is selling?

Thanks.

How about these bad boys?

Bad boys they are indeed! However, they will probably go for around £500-600? Which is more than I wanted to pay out on a set, which makes the R32 option more appealing perhaps.

Does anyone know what porker brakes fit the Mk5 platform and still get under the standard 18" pescy's?

Having trouble finding R32 front's, well not strictly true, but at a reasonable price that is;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK5-R32-345MM-310MM-FRONT-REAR-BRAKE-CONVERSION-KIT-CALIPERS-CARRIERS-/270822231639?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0e434e57 - Can't be right surely!?! I know that's for everything but if he broke and sold the front's separate, going by that valuation they'd be nudging 800 quid?!

Found a few others but still wanting 600+ quid.

Out of curiosity what is the going rate for a front R32 set up with & without discs & pads?

Cheers.

It would still be worth bidding up to what you are prepared to pay, you never know what could happen......

I have a topic running on the above brake kit, as a joke really because that price is absolutely ridiculous!!!! Clearly the seller is on cloud nine asking that money and also advertising them as Brembo....... :surprised:

Well he's definitely on something! Your thread was quite amusing, I expect he would of had numerous 'enthusiasts' contact him and politely inform him of the inaccurate description & comedy price tag, they're supposed to be VW dismantlers so you'd expect them to be a little more competitive in a widely available part perhaps?

I did think about watching them in eBay and as you say someone has got a bargain if all is legitament. I seem to be drawn to an OEM+ upgrade despite it's popularity but it's a proven solid step up from the ropey GTI set up.

Cheers mate.
