I already knew about the car.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Went for a test drive yesterday. took out a S2 with the performance pack on, 240 BHP.  It went like sh*t off a shovel, they had forgotten to fit a suspension to the one i drove and there was a stick by my left knee that i had to keep grabbing.  I had to dig a hole next to the door to get in ( man they are low cars.  :chicken: ) and i felt like a Chilean minor getting out. The paint work is dubious and the refinement was non existent  but i loved it.  :drinking: Think i need to learn how to drive sharpish, or i can see myself doing Torvel and Dean's everywhere.

Very nice top cat!! I love them. My boss has one and took me round cadwell in it. It's amazing how good they are. And if you ever need more power you could always stick a edition engine in it if your feeling abit crazy

I would do the complete opposite and go out in a blaze of glory, spin out on the 14th corner, making sure to take out a couple other car, then crash the car into the barrier in a final blaze of glory with ride of the valkyries blasting out of the stereo!

Just a thought....

.... :congrats: :congrats: Absolutely brilliant piece of wordsmithing, TC, and perfectly describing exactly why I don't like them, but who cares - You like them and that's the important thing. What colour?

P.S.- You missed out what a horrendous turning circle they have
