good for u mate u did what i would have done  :fighting: fookers just dont care about our cars and are just out to do a piss poor job and make a quick £ but there are some f in fantastic bodyshops out there who put big car builders to shame.

I had a similar battle over my VXR same sort of thing...but it got put right and I also got my money back (thanks Mastercard)

That work is horrendous!!! Id be embarrassed to let that leave the body shop if i was a sprayer!
Im sorry you had such an ordeal with this but glad you got it sorted in the end! Kinda made me think twice bout colour coding my candy now!!

At the end of the day i always tend to look on the bright side of life, yes its been a nightmare, but the summer and my new wheels are soon to arrive,and i am officially back in love with the car as of today.  :party: :party:  :driver:

The first guy has lost his business i am led to believe since this incident and the second body shop  is local to me and not worth the hassle of naming them.  :smiley:

Thought i needed to update my car thread, 4 little mods added while i wait for the rimmage.  :party: :party: :party:

First off ickle Mazda Ariel



then as posted in another thread got the carbon vinyl mask and badge to try out, and its growing on me more and more.  :smiley:
Also got myself a proper red badge for the front to finish off this area.









And finally had a little eureka moment with this idea, wanted to be able to show the front end off without the plate. Mainly at all the shows and for photos.
Had this mod on the car for over a week now and a good few hundred miles, and it has stayed put so i am confident it wont fly off. it has also been speed tested  :evilgrin:
Also the magnets are that powerful you dont even need to line it up, it pulls out of your hand into the perfect spot.  :happy2:

Also i know peeps are going to say it is easily stolen, but if some one wants to pinch it, then it only takes 15 seconds to take off with a little posi-drive.  :smiley:
