My clocks have a part number 'sticker' on the bottom.

When looking at a new set HOW can you tell if they are the right ones, if there is no part number sticker? is there any other way to tell?
Being told they came of a 2006 GTI if very little help, and you never know they maybe just making that up.

I thought maybe a specific model of clock (i.e 971 or whatever) were produced around a certain year/model only.

If in dount of the model number.....STAY AWAY?
