Sealant / wax for plastic
« on: October 11, 2011, 09:10:30 pm »
Just bought a new set of light clusters for my new stead (I won't say what it is in case  get banned).

Anyway just wondering if it would be worthwhile protecting / enhancing that brand new look with some sealant or wax.

The products I have at my disposal include Autoglym HD Wax, Dodo Juice Austinlicious, Jetseal 109, and Collinite Insulator wax?

Any ideas of suggestions  :popcornsoda:

Any of the above will do, I like the coliinite insulator wax as it's easy to use and lasts well. Also seems to reduce the static you can get from plastic lights.

I'd prefer a sealant over a wax for plastics.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Cheers guys, I was kinda thinking of the insulator wax which is really a sealant more than a wax.

Used 845 on my lights for some time. Lasts about as well as on the paint.
