Latest maps are 7.2 in any case mate and yes im running them.

Though VW refer to them as v8 the revision is 7.2 cd7551

The V7.2 maps have map data from Qtr 4 2009

The new V8 maps for Eastern Europe have map data from Qtr 4 2010

So hopefully the new V8 maps for Western Europe with updated i.e with Qtr 4 2010 map data will be available soon

Id be surprised if we see v8 maps this side of christmas!

Probably not till at least feb next year now knowing the speed VW release maps.
