this time, if all goes to plan, i'll be going to uni in London so i don't need the car and i'll sell it. this is is the main reason it's a silly idea.

it's a 2011/60 Phantom Black S3 Black Ed with DSG for £26950 with 2250mi on the clock

thaaaaats the one. although their finance deal isn't as good as a BRAND NEW Ibis White BE that another dealer in the same group has . just a shame that i CAN'T STAND white cars (no offence to white car owners reading this)

tbh i'm dissuaded now. i think a remap and Dave's NQS that i've been meaning to fit for a month will see me good for the next 10 months.

PCP £450 a month with a £3k deposit. i thought that was very reasonable.

it's just a shame that Misano red is an exclusive colour on the S3 (despite being an optional colour on the S-line and RS3 ) cos then that would be my colour of choice. thing is, my 2005/54 A3 1.6 was Ebony Black Metallic, my 2006/55 A3 2.0T is Phantom Black Pearl do i really want another black car?

i saw a gorgeous 3.2 quattro last month 2007, 40k miles on the clock, Misano red and Open Sky pan roof (so black roof and spoiler). annoyingly it was advertised for marginally less than my 2.0T was when i got it last year.

i would have facelifted it and stuck a turbo on it
