the thing is i could remap my 2.0T and it'd be as fast as an S3 for the fraction of the money, and if i got an S3 i wouldn't map it or anything. i've got a few parts waiting to go on it too. like i said, for the sake of 10 months i really don't think it's worth it.

BUT that hasn't stopped me calling the dealership and asking about the finance for it  :scared:

You really do not want anything to flash to take to uni as it will get trashed.  I had a mint 1.9 205 Gti, I did go to uni a long time ago, you should have seen the state of it after 3 years.

welllll i had my A3 1.6 at uni the first time around. it survived - just.
 
this time, if all goes to plan, i'll be going to uni in London so i don't need the car and i'll sell it. this is is the main reason it's a silly idea.
