Its the same reason i joined, i was on the lookout for the same MK5 ED30 in white for 18 months, after missing 3 of them, i finally got my hands on mine last friday, one very happy new owner. Keep a lookout on Autotrader, pistonheads, gumtree and also good to look on BCA car auctions for ex lease vehicles (I know they have a 3dr in white with DSG coming up on friday at bedford with guide price of 11900 on it, I was going to bid on that one myself if i did not buy the one i saw friday (which i did buy), for info its advertised as 28K FSH (only says 1 stamp on listing but when i rang the lease company they confirmed it has 2 VW stamps. Dont think it has MOT and no tax on it tho, I suspect it will go for less than guide price due to this so may be woth a look if you dont NEED 5 doors.
