Lowering advice

Hi all, thinking of lowering 50mm but not sure how it will be for everyday use, and I have also just fitted a reiger front lip spoiler and don't wanna split/lose it :( I do like to drive it hard (occasionally;) but don't want to have to constantly look out for slight bumps in the road in fear of hitting something :-/
So is 50mm to much?? I do want the car to look good and have heard some people say the 30-35 mm springs just aren't enough low's for them

Hey mate, imo 30-35mm will be perfect on a GTi if its a daily runner especially with the spoiler.  You could go for coil overs which are adjustable down to -65mm, then you could set them to what you feel is best.

Thanks for the replys, think coilies may be to harsh a ride and I like the way the golf handles so don't wanna ruin that so may go for the eibach setup ;) as I think they wil be the best on a 35mm drop

good coils shouldn't make the ride worse

i've got a low - mid range coilover (weitec hicon GT) and they've improved my ride over stock... but then again S-Line suspension is harder than GTI suspension
