19 inch wheels on Edition 30
« on: October 17, 2011, 10:20:27 am »
Hi all, can anyone  please answer me a brief question and possibly post some photos up of a MK5 GTi/Edition 30 with 19inch wheels on ...must have ''standard suspension''.
I've been toying with the idea of a set of 19 inch Audi speedlines as they are apparently an ET48 and already have 225/35/ rubber on...basically what i dont want to do is buy them and then have to lower it because it doesnt look right.

Thanks guys

TBH mate you would prob be better off lowering first.
Your original alloys will look 100x better and if you the get the 19's, they'll look amazing

Just get some H&R's or Eibach springs. That's all I have with my 19's and they perform great  :happy2:

Is the picture in your signature just running on lowered springs, the stance is absolutely perfect imo.   :happy2:

I bought my H&R springs on eBay.DE (german eBay) for £130 delivered (came in 4days too).

TBH I could have gone a little lower for the perfect stance, but as it is, it drives perfect with the 19's (even round the Nurburg ring)

....I thought the H&R and Eibach springs were identical?

Here is the first one that popped up on eBay.de for £140 but if you search I'm sure you will find a better deal. Just make sure u deal with a decent trader with good feedback. Most will speak real good English so send em a message etc.
