Realistically you can get a good 30mm lower on H&R springs, not sure if there's any lower springs out there :sad1:

There are some that drop the front 50mm and the back 35mm but I cannot remember the brand! I am planning to put them on my GT Tdi.

Ah they are Eibach Sportline!

Expect to buy new shocks in a couple of month if you go any lower than 30mm on the standard units.

50mm  expect to mash your tyres up on the arches as well  :signLOL:
I have H&R 30mm drop on mine and they're perfect.  Have a look at this link and scroll down http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,31292.0.html

I'd always recommend Eibach or H&R when going for just springs. Eibach Sportlines drop the GTI 25mm front, 20mm rear.

Thanks for the advise guys. A mate has h&r ultra lows on his mk5 r32 and 19" ch's and it looks truly awesome, would love to go this route but don't have 2k for wheels and a k for the coilies, oh well.
I think for the moment 30mm will have to do me :o)

50mm with H&R supersport springs or Eibach sportlines. H&R is a bit lower up front than eibachs(I've had them both). They will last 4-ever(almost).

Plus their ride is smoother, more stock like feel, than 30mm drop springs like H&R race springs or Eibach pro springs.

I went for Eibach sports, to be honest I wouldn't want to go any lower.
