Apple Finance

Has anyone here used apple finance to buy a laptop? I want to upgrade from my macbook to a macbook pro (when the new one comes out!)

Seems a pretty good way of getting a more expensive macbook when you don't have the cash for the initial outlay.

Any hangups or drawbacks I should look out for?

If it was me i would go to bestbuy or comet that usually do 0% for a year/ 2years.

Or i would take out the best 0% credit card on purchases at the time.

My advice is to always buy Apple products from Apple. Their aftersales service and techsupport is second to none in my long experience of them.

Best shopping experience EVER  :notworthy:

The guys at meadowhall Applestore were just amazing.

Plus I got my MacBook Air for £1200 that should have been £1700+  :surprised:

Very helpful chaps n chapess's  :wink:

I agree apple offers an unbeaten shopping experience in today's retail world of cost cutting over customer service. Just had £250 worth of repairs done free by my apple store on a 2 year old laptop.
Searching around on the interenet though it appears apple finance is pretty hard to get. I wouldn't have thought I would have a problem getting it but others are apparently being refused quite easily.

Bestbuy are currently offering 0% finance  for a year with min 10% deposit and more if you want, which I would probably do. This is pretty tempting although there arn't any stores near me so would have to travel specially. Apple's minimum term is 24 months and I would want to pay it off over 12.

Though I don't bother shopping around because I enjoy the whole Apple Store experience even if a 100-mile round trip (via some fast and exciting coast roads). It's a Win-Win  :star:

Argos do a very good selection of Apple which you can have on 12months interest free.
