They're toss, I've done 3 sets and won't buy them again.

It's not like they're even hard to get off, so they offer about 1 minute's more protection... if they're having your wheels, they're having your wheels. Buy reliable lockers.
Sideways yo!

Could someone local with the same brand locking wheel nut not help or are every single key they make different?

Like said try tighten all 4 bolts around the nut and try that way!

Was it done at Kwik-Fit? If so my brother works there and all normal nuts can be buzzed gunned on but they are NOT aloud to use the air gun on locking wheel nuts, it's company policy, if that's the case then get back to them and explain as it was tightened with the gun it has caused it to snap, they then need to get it removed!

Hope this helps!

Cheers buddy, is that 120ft/llbs? and is that for all the bolts?

120NM = 89 lbs/ft for all bolts AFAIK.  :happy2:

Monte before you splash out the 18 or 36 Euros get in touch with Mcgard in Germany as their customer service is excellent. Over the last few years I have received 3 replacement keys off them FOC. First one went and so I got them to send me one under warranty plus I bought one @ 18 euros as a spare. When both of those rounded off I got back in touch with them and they sent me 2 more new ones under warranty.

I'm at work at the moment but could send you copies of the emails I sent to them when I got mine replaced.
