good bye MKV
« on: October 22, 2011, 07:32:34 pm »
Hi Guys

Its been a while since I last posted. The good old days of being a college lecturer and being able to be on here pretty much the whole day are long gone.

Well I have had a couple of issues with the MKV GTI in the past 6 months. Not sure if this is down to the fact the wife uses the car now as I have a company car. So thought we should change. Looked at so many different makes and models but the one the wife really liked was the Tiguan R Line in white. Managed to source one from VW West London. 2011 2.0ltr petrol so at least I will still have the GTI engine.
We are heading off to pick the car up in the morning. I will be pretty sad to see the Golf go as it's been a good allrounder.

Thanks for all the pointers passed on from the guys on this site. It's been a good source of info over the years.

Cheers

Iain
