As above, it'll be on-board graphics.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Definitely decided to go for a laptop now, looking at the Dell outlet and I found this refurbished one -

Question, are all laptops wifi?

B0ll0x!!!! The link doesn't work because it's sold, jeepers they don't hang around on there......

This is a similar one I just found -

Inspiron 15R - N5010
LCD Back Cover : Mars Black
Intel i5-480M(2.66GHz) Mobile CPU
320 GB SATA Hard Drive (5400 RPM)
4 GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz (2 DIMMs)
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64 BIT)
Display 15.6in HD (1366X768) WLED with TrueLife

£323 inc VAT and delivery.

EDIT:  Decided to go for this one, tried to add it to my basket and its bloody sold........ :fighting:

EDIT 2:  Looks like I am going to have to be quick on this one, just to confirm if I find one spec'd as above for the same sort of price is this a good deal?

yeah pretty much if you see it buy it on outlet, people check every hour for updates.

as long as its i3 minimum(preferable 2gen i.e i3 2120 not i3 380)
3gb ram minimum

If your lucky you will get a dedicated gpu i.e nvidia gt555 or something like that

If you are definitely after a Dell Outlet laptop you need to be on there from early in the day.
By the end on the day there is nowt worth having. XPS ftw.

Written on my Dell Outlet XPS-15.

When I was looking I watched it for a while and it seems that's the way it works.

You can't really pick and choose as what you see is what you get.
Mine: XPS-15, Core i7, 4GB Ram, 500GB HDD, GT540 2GB Graphics. For £550.

It's pretty slick but spat it's dummy out with a SATA 3 SSD which I eventually sent back.

Obviously there is money to be saved and with a few compromises I reckon you could do an XPS-15.

The XPS 15 sounds good, but if I spend out that much on a laptop stage 2 will have to wait!  And that isn't happening.......

The link probably doesn't work as it's no longer available........................................because I bought it!!

Here's the spec -

Inspiron 15R - N5110

Display: 15.6in High Definition (720p) LED Display with TrueLife
Processor: Intel Core i3-2310M (3M Cache, 2.10 GHz)
Hard Drive : 500GB Serial ATA (5400RPM)
8X DVD+/- RW Drive
English Genuine Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium (64Bit OS)
6 Cell Primary Battery, 48W
Wireless: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 (1x2 b/g/n+ Bluetooth Combo Card)
Back Up Media Not Included
Black
4 GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz (1 DIMMs)
Power Supply: 130W AC Adapter
Intel HD Graphics 3000 with up to 1.6GB Dynamic Video Memory

My only concern was that it has 1 DIMM, but looking on Google I think this meas the 4gb of memory is in one slot, which leaves a second one empty to upgrade?
