Lower Grill Options....
« on: October 29, 2011, 06:35:29 pm »
Just debating wether or not to change my GTi honeycombe Lower grills for something differant. Just wondering what options are avalible.....

Am i right in thinking........

Jetta ones, have the chrome upper and you get the bottom half colour matched? The chrome and colourd part extends onto the bumper.

Standard Mk5 Items

Are there more avalible? Im quite liking the standard items as i think the jetta chrome ones would be to much with my chrome jetta grill but i quite like how they extend into the bumper, but know i need a jetta bumper.

Ive seen chrome ones on golfs which dont extend into the bumper though?

Don't forget the R Line ones (I think that's what they are called) they have the horizontal slates that overlap the bumper.

As above the R Line style are lush, the fins extend as they do on an R32, while the Jetta ones fit, if you are particular you wouldn't be happy as the fit isn't perfect.

If you do change I would be interested in the GTi ones you have (for the right price)!
