I just did it on mine.
Unfortunately, I can´t upload the photos, so I will try to explain the procedure. Is quite simple, if you have skills, tools and parts.
- Start to take out the unit.
- When you look at it from rear, you can see two small screws on both sides, and three underneath (total 7). Those small torx screws are located behind the part with the buttons.
- Than, you will be able to take out the black plastic (the frame with buttons). Take care because some of buttons are coming out. Keep a record (take a photo) of it.
- Now, you simply have to pull the part with the display. Is plugged in six sockets, without no connecting wire, so don´t worry!
- I replaced this entire part, but I´m sure you can go further to take out only the display.
