The op is right - after i've let rip I allways wait a few seconds then take a good wiff just to see how bad it is. The smellier it is the more i like it. Just like after you take a dump you never flush without taking a look.  Must be a bloke thing , or is there any ladies that have this habbit?

Just a weird random fact to add in here, the Victorians used to think that if you could smell a bad smell it would make you ill, IIRC, they called it a 'Miasma'.

Well there's my random fact for the week.

 :drinking:

Just found this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miasma_theory

In the 1st century AD, the Roman architectural writer Vitruvius described the potential effects of miasma (Latin nebula) from fetid swamplands when siting a city:

For when the morning breezes blow toward the town at sunrise, if they bring with them mist from marshes and, mingled with the mist, the poisonous breath of creatures of the marshes to be wafted into the bodies of the inhabitants, they will make the site unhealthy.

Another thing I've noticed is if you fart in your car, and hold your breath before you do, the fart will park just outside your nostrils waiting for you to breathe it in, no matter how long you hold your breath for.

My god, this thread is turning into a load of crap.

Everyone loves there own flavour, its just pride in your own work etc. There are three blokes including me at my work place and the stench that comes out is obsurd, yet everyone still loves there own. We once racked up 163 farts in 8hrs between us too, I'm also proud of that too!
