took the front end off today to get to the rad.. proper ballache! started at 9:30 this morning finished at about 5..



the f*cked rad.. obvisly theres been some radweld in it seeing as its pink. rang up the dealer and they said well you shouldve checked it  :angry015: nobheads are gonna get a call from trading standards  :wink:








anyways the car in bits..



the vw breakers who were really really good! recommend them to anyone

Dealers have to supply a minimum of 3 months warranty by law.

it was fine when i got the car. and its not like you can check the radiator because its wedged between the fans and the aircon rad, behind the bumper

they offered 6 months at £250 which i didnt think i need. to be fair i only toook it from the dealer to my mates shop and it started pissing coolant out  :angry015:

they said i shouldve checked it and that it never did that before. clearaly theres rad weld in there so they obvisly knew. winkers.

I had the same problem with mine Benny. I bought mine from a small car lot, turned out the radiator was knackered after a few days of ownership. Rang the guys up and they put a genuine Audi intercooler in the next day F.O.C. I would be kicking and screaming if I were you  :mad: :mad: :mad:

A dealer is a dealer, doesnt have to be a main VAG dealer, they all have to give a minimum 3 months warranty. Unless you have bought from some very dodgy backstreet trader who guarantees it until it goes off there forecourt!
Did you get any sort of receipt?
