V7 Maps

Can anyone tell me where i can get hold of disc for the v7 maps?for my RNS510

im based in Wolverhampton so does anyone have vagcom who can tell me if i have the required firmware to run the full post code search?

also to see if i have the correct canbus if the firmware requires an update?(to avoid battery drain)

Isn't V8 out now???
No Golf anymore. 
Enjoyed the last five years of ownership of Mk5 & 6 GTIs.
Plus an excellent forum for knowledge and new ways to deplete the bank account.

Yep running quite nicely and there is no difference to V7/.1/.2 apart from the map data is 12 Months newer :happy2:

Some have had issues with the speed limit not showing the majority of the time. Is it true?

Plan to stick v8 on this weekend.

Maps are sold by VW so any links to downloads are illegal and could bring the forum into disrepute. Please remove your link.

Plus i'd be surprised if they are genuine V8 anyway as their is about 0.5GB missing from the file :confused:
