I am currently changing my 07 gti rear bumper for a r32 one, and no longer want the use of my parking sensors as they look poo poo.

so t he question is how can i switch them off / disable them

dont fancy a loud scream everytime the car goes into reverse due to ziptieing them out the way.

unplug the controller under the drivers side carpet in the boot, and remove parking sensor from the can gateway installation list!

yea vcds.

remove the parking sensor from the installation list, that what the unit wont be flagged as unreachable on the can and raise an error (or leave it and tell the garage to ignore it)
