Heater not working vagcom scan inside

Posted about heater not working few days ago
Here is what it shows on vagcom
Any ideas

Your G65 sensor has probably failed
Part number - 1K0-959-126-A

P00576 can be any number of things

Where does the sensor go and would it cause the heater to not work

Sensor sits in front and just slightly below auxiliary - See latest update http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,89715.msg907250.html#msg907250

I don't think that would affect the heater though I'm afraid....

Again take the blower out and check it. could even be the heater resistor.

G65 is the air con switch/sensor outside the car in front of the alternator.

My gti has clumate control so blower will be differenr??

Does the climate control gti share same resistor as normal blower non climate control?

Yes it does as I don't recall seeing a second blower and can hear mine blow faster and slower when con on and off.
