Iron X?
« on: November 17, 2011, 10:28:11 am »
Just ordered some, seen a few YT videos, can this only be used on wheels or can I spray my whole car with it?

Best thing to do is spray, leave for 20 minutes and then hand wash off? Is that it? Or clay afterwards?

Thanks

I don't think I've ever left it on for more than five mins. Have used it on alloys and on paintwork without issues. It removes iron particles and that's about it. Tar will need to be removed by tar remover and any other surface bonded contaminants can be clayed off.

Iron-X is an additional step and not a replacement for any stage IMO.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
