ps here are the part numbers (this is for the newer nav and radio aerial as in pic below)

Base- 1K0 035 501 F
Rod Type Ariel- 1J0 035 849 A
Gps Antenna Cable- 000 098 656

This is my ariel in the picture and to be honest its not that hard to fit the cable from the RNS510,most of the trim just pulls off :happy2:

Tommy ftw :D
and RNS-510 ftw :D
I understood you had to take most of the roof lining apart to run the external antenna. But if it's easy, go for it.

Base- 1K0 035 501 F    -£60
Rod Type Ariel- 1J0 035 849 A    -£12
Gps Antenna Cable- 000 098 656   -£15
Ran the cable through the back of the clocks, then along and down the fusebox, then through the floor trim right along to the back boot,up to the rear airbag, take back trim of the rooflining of boot off then across to the roof ariel hole, connect to ariel base, tighten nut not too much, put rear trim of rooflining back on,connect rod type ariel and thats it!!!antenna cable was secured with cable ties all the way through process :happy2:
