Best bet is to find a local place (bigger the better) that holds junior race events, go along and chat to the parents and you will get some decent advice  :happy2:

You need to find a track which offers bamino karting 6-8 years old. They are scaled down zip kart chassis with a comer 50cc 2 stroke engines, which with the correct gearing will do around 40-44mph. They run full slicks from the cadet karts which make them stick to the road like glue.  (some tracks will let 5 year old use Bambinos on them.)

He started early this year when he was 5, started on the local ind estate then moved on to our local track Priory Park which do open track days for the Bambinos every sunday morning, Monday Thursday PM.  He has his time down to 34.2s now which is one of the fastest Bambinos down there, not far of my 125 KF3 karts time of 28.2s..lol

The karts hold there money and you can get a good one for around £600-700 > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZIP-TOP-KART-BAMBINO-MINT-CONDITION-/180741436797?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a1507757d

The only tracks I know of where you can hire out the Bambino karts are Wilton Mill and Buckmore, but its like one for them ferrari red letter days, they dont really get a chance to have fun and keep getting told to slow down...lol

Here is my sons Bambino kart on my dyno with my daughter at the helm.. :driver:
