Eddie-NL has been most helpful making all kinds of looms for upgrading and retrofitting various lighting and audio bits. I've bought an AUX-IN loom from him but I think I actually needed an ipod dock - would this fit an iPhone 4 allowing me to control the music via my RNS 510?? I hope to eventually get a Bluetooth kit which will integrate with the RNS510 too.  Will it work in the dock?  Will it charge there?

Maybe there's an alternative bit of kit I need - any advise which is the best to listen to music via my iPhone please?!  I'm guessing whatever I eventually install, the centre console and armrest will have to come out so I should plan all the connections and additional accessories - flip top ashtray, sliding cover drinks holder - to be insalled at the same time?

(I may have an AUX-In loom from Eddie-NL for sale very soon!!)

If you want to control and charge an iphone then you need the MDI. sell your 6CD Changer and fit the MDI there (you should be able to buy the full MDI kit for £100 and probably be able to get at least £70 or more for the CD Changer and lead).

all is not lost with the AUX-in loom as you can add that to the MDI

Its all becoming clear. Slowly!  I'm still away from home so haven't seen your AUX-In loom and adapter but I believe its arrived.  I'll start looking for the MDI on the Parts for Sale section I guess and put the changer on there as you suggest.
