Hello,  :happy2:

Thought that I better register on here now I am the proud owner of one of the cleanest low mileage Edition 30's in the land. I bought fellow member Steve's Red 58 plate ED30 with 4200 miles on the clock and what a beauty she is.

Had many many a GTI in the past ranging from a 1982 mk1 with a 1.9 16v conversion through to this baby, which is definetely going to be my pride and joy (already been washed twice in 3 days)

I live in Chorley but originally from Manchester so can be seen frequenting the M61 quite often going to and from old haunts.

Only from Preston, myself.....

Was looking at that eddy myself (out of the price range unfortunately) now I can buy a cheaper GTI, seeing as you're local you can have me a key cut and I can sit in it on your driveway and make vroom vroom noises whilst waiting for the police to arrive.....

EDIT: Saw you today actually! About 16.00ish on the m61 going towards manchester passing reebok / westhoughton junction, outside lane being followed by a corsa van!

Yeah, I think I caught a glimpse of a Silver Gti (3 door with a funky petrol flap???) coming off at junction 5? I was heading back to the beautiful pastures of Little Hulton.....! I used to live in Atherton previously before moving up here.

Just on the topic of a meet, I don't know if you guys are aware but there is a Veedub club called Unphased (I think), they meet at the Boatyard pub on the outskirts of Blackburn just off M65 towards Houghton Tower. A few of my mates are well into there dubs, R32's, air cooled beetle, old camper, crazy mk4 with BMW x5 wheels etc.

It's on this Thursday and every month I think, my details are a bit sketchy as I'm waiting for my mate to tell me the times but I promised him i'd go up for a beer/tyre kick. I had a ride up on my push bike in summer and it looked like a decent crowd/turnout
