dropped an enquiry via the contact us on vw website.

they got back to me yesterday having appointed a liasion person etc etc and telling me they are going to investigate.

is this normal or should i be excited haha, really hope they will sort the arches out

Hiya mate,I guess the next stage is for you to meet up with a V.W paint inspector.he'll take your details and some photos of your arches.It's worth having a look at where the arch meets the sill and seeing if there is any rust starting there.There was on mine and this was all done under warranty aswell whilst the wings were off the car.good look :happy2:

I agree with Valvedoctor- have a look at the rusty wing thread he started in this forum section.

I have also visited VW and awaiting to her back from them, so get them to inspect!
VCDS cable HEX-USB+CAN. New but can do the basics including coding
