So Top Gear are filming down my road!!!

Just got home to find Top Gear are filming down my road  :driver:

7 American cars parked on drives with American plates and post boxes while they film a tank driving down the road going over a few more parked american cars, got a few photos will post them in a bit when photobucket works :)

Pretty cool said hi to Richard Hammond :)

Does make you realise how fake it is though :( police have blocked the road at both ends and theres loads of preparation for each shot and explosion

Its not everyday you see tanks driving over yank cars in a housing estate tho is it?.

If it happened every day, no one would watch it as it wold ne normal  :laugh:

I saw the tank going through orpington this morning at like 9.30. Now i know why it was in town!!!

I remember when they tested Cars that people could actually afford  :grin:

Its more of a comedy show nowadays.

Still it is cool to have em filming on your street  :happy2:

Judging by what's going on in those photographs, I think closing off the road was quite a good idea. Wouldn't like to pop home from shopping & find a tank coming the other way up the street :surprised: :surprised:

i also disagree. I watch 5th gear sometimes and find it boring in comparison. It's good to have a laugh and see all those exotic cars, even if there is very little information about them. If It was based on everyday cars that we could afford could you honestly say you would find it as interesting?

Live in Orpington/Bromley near London. The road is always used for the lottery adverts and things like that but Top Gear was cool.

Girlfriends mate got a photo wth Richard Hammond, Girlfriends now pissed at me cause I made her leave as it was cold  :grin:

I read online the other day, that theres a top gear special on at christmas where they go to india.
