Retrofitting DSG Paddles Steering wheel
« on: June 27, 2011, 02:10:42 pm »
Hi,

I bought an 05 GTi DSG but it didn't come with the flappy paddles.  Does anyone retrofitted a DSG MFSW with the paddles?  If so, what do I need (apart from the steering wheel) in terms of retrofitting?  I've got VAG COM - I assume i'll need to do some coding???

Any help would be great... Thanks!!

Thanks, just read that.  Just wondering if I need a specific steering wheel module for a steering wheel with paddles or if the MFSW module is the same????

My first post ... although a regular on the TT Forum when I had my TT v6!  I'm just about to own an 05 GTi with the DSG without the paddles and really loved the paddles on my TT.

Does anyone know an Indie that will do this for me - ideally in the Wales / South West area? I'm a newbie to this ... and am willing to do some things like a boost gauge or DV replacement but don't want to mess with the steering system.

Cheers.
