Laptop mouse help

Hey folks

Was curious if anyone has any idea of what's wrong with my laptop mouse/ touch pad thingy?

A few day's ago the right mouse button stopped working and today the left button has stopped working The laptop has not been dropped in anyway and nothing has been spilt on it. I seriously don't think it down to the usage of the button's as I hardly ever use them especially the right button.

Until I can get it fixed/looked at by someone who knows what they are doing can I assign another key to take up this role?

Try re installing the drivers in control panel-device manager.

Also download microsoft security essentials and scan for a virus quick sharp.

I imagine that would involve taking it apart? The touch pad works so wouldnt that mean its still connected?

My last two work laptops (Dell latitude) had the same problem where the mouse buttons wouldn't work. The cause was fluff!

If you have a blower brush or can of compressed air give it a blast under the buttons.
