I've heard that the standard Diverter Valve is pretty weak on these car's,would it be advisable to get it changed before the remap and if so which one to go for?Went to main dealer's to ask for the price of the original OEM and it was around £57 and they said it was a cut off valve,I take it it's the same part?

I recently had my ED30 remapped and not yet changed the standard DV. It takes 5minutes to take it out and see if its cracked/split. Obviously i'll change it when it goes.
check out awesome-gti who sell it for around £50 delivered!

The forge fitting kit I have is this;
[pdf]http://www.forgemotorsport.com/media/FMBGFK.pdf[/pdf]
which I may be able to supply depends if I can get a replacement in time to not have to take my car off the road. (lots happening atm with a move back to England imminent)
They have updated it and improved it to need no cutting hoses.

This is a new one that looks rather neat

Just removed my diverter valve and it's the older type(knew it would be)taking it off was a piece of cake but putting the Hex bolt that secure's the bracket holding the valve was a pain in the arse,no split's or rip's though but i'm gonna go for the revision 'd' version from my main dealer,thank's for the offer Mike.

Fitted the new diverter valve and did the NGK iridium's at the same time and the car seem's to be running smoother and slightly quicker,fitting the plug's was a pain in the arse as the clip holding the coil pack's in place were a pain to get off!
